Our Program
We have developed a prestigious preschool program for children ages 3-5 that aims to get your child completely prepared for their journey through grade school and beyond.
Our curriculum is pulled from the Frog Street and WEE Learn education texts. These are Bible based series that is supplemented with ABC’s and 123’s.
Here at Freedom Christian Academy, our teachers strive to introduce children to as many experiences that will cement the building blocks of their education and provide them with a firm foundation for continued learning.

What is VPK?Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten is a free, quality pre-kindergarten program for 4 year old children who reside in the state of Florida.

What times are VPK at FCA?Classes are from 8:00-11:00 a.m.

How much does VPK cost for the school year?VPK classroom hours are 100% FREE. Children that enroll in the extended day will need to register for $80. It includes all the hours from 6:30 am to 8:00 am and 11:00 am to 5:30 pm for the weekly tuition rate of $130. This also includes lunch, a nap, and p.m. snack.

What is the process to enroll a child in the VPK program?The process to enroll an eligible child into a VPK program is an online application. The link is available online. If a parent is unable to upload the required documents, or needs assistance, computers are available in the lobby of the Marion County ELC. Enroll here: http://www.elc-marion.org/.

How old must the child be to enroll in the VPK program?The child must be 4 years of age ON or BEFORE September 1st of the current enrollment year. The program year is from August through May.
Threes Room Daily Schedule
Our day begins upon the arrival of the first child and ends with the departure of the last child each day. Children will be encouraged, but never be forced to participate in any activity. On days that present with inclement weather arrangements will be made for children to play in the main room.
